Laura Lee Pease

Laura Lee Pease, 65, of Huntley Illinois, formerly of Downers Grove, Illinois passed away November 30, 2023. She was born September 22, 1958, in Aurora, Illinois to the late James and Shirley Hochleutner.

Lori is survived by her children, Ryane Hochleutner, Joe Dreuttel, James Pease, and Andrew Pease; Grandchild, Isabella Dreuttel and sister Pamela Koceski (Chet).

Lori was an old soul with a free spirit with so many passions, she loved the beach, anywhere she could feel the sunshine on her face. She loved to spend the day in the city exploring. She enjoyed painting and she loved making jewelry, buying new beads or using old pieces that she didn’t love turning them into something gorgeous. She loved fashion, always shopping for vintage clothes and jewelry and always finding unique pieces for her home. Lori was the plant whisperer.  She could grow anything, always had windowsills full of beautiful thriving greenery.

She loved her children and spent her life always trying to be a better, stronger, woman for them. Introducing them to her love of exploring and passing along her free spirit.  She had a kind heart, she cared for her Grammy in her final months and then her mom, in hers. Showing so much compassion and love, making sure they were comfortable.

Loris's journey from this life to her next is made easier only by knowing that she is with them now and her soul is free to fly.
