Lawrence (Larry) Monaco, age 71, passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Larry was born on December 8, 1951, in Chicago, IL. A kind hearted and generous man to all who met him. He would always seek to help in ways you wouldn’t ask. He was hardworking and dedicated to the only job he had as a co-owner of John J Monaco products where he managed the production and delivery of paperboard products to customers. Some of his many hobbies included boating, motorocycling, cars, technology, charity work and would love to be able to share a meal with whoever was in his company.
Larry is survived by his loving children, John (Rachael) and Jennifer (Joe Parks); grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Bella, Johnny, Leo (Monaco), Sophia, Eli, Josie, Tate, Lila (Parks); and his brother Louis Monaco.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Jeanne Monaco (nee Dluzen); his father John J Monaco and mother Marie R Monaco (nee Forliano).
A memorial visitation for Larry will be held from 5:30pm until the time of service at 7:30pm on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00am the following morning at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N Benton St, Palatine, IL.
