Lenora C. (Sweetland) Anderson
August 21, 1923 — December 31, 2017
Lenora C. Anderson, 94, of Barrington passed away December 31, 2017. She was born in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Mark and Carrie Sweetland.
In 1943 she married the love of her life, Richard Anderson. They were married 59 wonderful years before his passing in 2003. For many years they owned the Ben Franklin Store in Barrington. Together, their biggest joy was their grandchildren. They also enjoyed many wonderful friendships, traveling, dancing, and always being together. They were longtime members at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Barrington. Lenora’s biggest passion was her family.
She will be missed by her daughter, Jane (Mike) Clodfelter of Deer Park; grandchildren, Bryan Clodfelter and Carrie (Ryan) Pavel; one great grandchild on the way; sister, Ruth (Mel) Markwardt; brother-in-law, John “Eddie” Anderson; sister-in-law, June Anderson; and many special nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Ave., Barrington 60010.
