Leonard "Lenny" Kleba, 65, of Fox Lake, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry. He was born in Chicago, to Benedict Kleba and Mary Corbett. He spent most of his life working as a meat cutter in many local grocery stores including Cub Foods, Omni, Dominick?s and Val?s. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing; bowling; playing the lottery; dice, card, and video games; and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He is survived by his loving family of four children, daughters Laura (Robert) Downs of Huntley, Ill., Paula (Matt) Tryznka of Genoa, Ill., and Heather (Mike) Kerrigan of Bowie, Md.; son, Steven (Ruth) Kleba of Genoa, Ill.; ten grandchildren; and four step children, Joe VanDinther of Johnsburg, Ill., Yvonne (Bill) Atwater of Lakemoor, Ill., and Christine (Steve) Woollard, of North Aurora, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Benny and Danny. The visitation will take place from 12-2p.m. on Sunday, March 7, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rt 176), Crystal Lake. A brief memorial service will follow.
