Lily Mardones

Lily Mardones, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

She was born March 29, 1939 in Chile, the daughter of the late Luis and Aurora (nee Rivero) Alvarez.

Lily is survived by her children, Edith (Nilo) deCastro and Marcio (Beth) Mardones; and her grandchildren, Alexandra deCastro and Jake Mardones.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 20, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
