Lola Marian Sroka

Lola M. Sroka passed away on October 17, 2023. She was born November 16, 1933 in Chicago to Andrew and Anna Szczesniak.

During her long life Lola took care of her parents at her residence in Chicago while raising two children and working full time. She spent most of her 25+ working years at Milwaukee Electric Tool Company in Niles. Lola became the company’s first female branch manager. She touched many lives in that role.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jerome D. Sroka. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Gary) of Lake Zurich; son, Jeffrey (Pamela) of Geneva; grandchildren Andrew, Sarah, Monica, and Alexander; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Chloe and Milo.

Visitation will be from 9 am until 10 am Friday, November 17 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  There will be a procession to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 135 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will be private.
