Lucille M. Affrunti, 97, of Crystal Lake passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Crystal Lake. Born June 3, 1917 in Wakefield, Michigan, she was the daughter of Ernest and Eva (nee Rivard) Proteau.
After attaining her degree as a registered nurse in Wisconsin, she worked as a psychiatric nurse at Forest Hospital. Lucille was a member of St. Mary’s Church in McHenry.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Gwen) Lischalk of Wakefield, MI, Roland (Mary) Lischalk of Woodstock, and Donald (Carol) Lischalk of Palatine; and grandchildren, Frankie, Tina, Steve, Roland, Rebecca, Mark, Allen, Diane, and Brett.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Chapel service will be held at 1pm, Friday, September 12, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.
