Barrington, Illinois,A Memorial Service for Margot Dow Cusimano, 73, of Barrington, will be held Sunday, December 27, 2009, at 10:45 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin, 39W830 Highland Ave. (three miles west of Randall Road), Elgin. Reverend Dan Brosier will officiate. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the service. Born April 19, 1936, in Maywood, IL, Margot passed away on December 16, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her family. Margot was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin for 37 years. She was, among other things, a licensed Physical Therapist, Hand Bell Director, Piano Teacher, Directress at a Montessori Preschool, and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Joseph V. Cusimano, whom she married on February 1, 1964; loving sons Dan (Diane) and Paul (Lily) Cusimano; adored grandchildren Thomas, Nicole, Sophia, and Chloe; dear sister Carol Dow and sisters-in-law Sally Dow and Marilyn Fredericks; and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her cherished son Tim; parents Lyle and Gwen Dow; and brother Thomas Dow.
