Marilu Matre

Marilu F. Matre (nee Flanagan), 90, of Barrington, formerly of Oak Park and Wilmette, passed away peacefully December 12, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Richard A. Matre, Ph.D; loving mother to Pat (Miriam Goldfein), Mike, Peggy (Steve) Hartley, Liz (Barry) Brigham, Jeanne (Pat) Conway, Terry (Dave Stubbs) Matre, Rich (Lauren), Loretta (Aurelio) Prifitera and John (Jill); cherished grandmother of 19; and great-grandmother of 6; dear sister of Sr. Jeanne Flanagan, OP; and fond daughter to the late John and Loretta Flanagan.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W Main St (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington, IL 60010. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela St. (at the corner of Franklin St.), Barrington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilu’s name may be made to the Sinsinawa Dominicans, Office of Development, 585 Country Rd. Z, Sinsinawa, WI 53824-9701.
