Mark Daniel Price

Mark Daniel Price (61) of Crystal Lake, IL passed away at home surrounded by the love of his family. Mark was born in Billings, Montana on 8/7/63 to Craig & Anita (Ahlquist) Price of Sidney Montana. He grew up in Sidney, Montana, which he always considered his “Home Town”, playing and excelling at several different sports, including baseball, golf, football, basketball, and track. He was a CPA and a member of the AICPA, working in McHenry County for the past 20+ years. Mark’s very favorite thing to do was to spend time with all of his children and grandchildren, and when he wasn’t doing that, he could be found on the golf course at Bull Valley Golf Club – where he got his second hole-in-one! Mark passed on his love for sports to his children, who are now passing it on to their own children! The joy of his life was coaching his kid’s baseball and softball teams.

Mark will be sorely missed by his wonderfully supportive parents, his best friend and brother Matt (Stacie) Price, his children, who he was so proud of, Lauren (Jared) Herrmann & Ryan (Jenna) Price. When he married Kelly Vito in 2023, they created a blended family, who loved him dearly, especially her children, Christopher Vito, Angela (Evan) Cox, Abbey Vito & Angela (Kyle) Johnson. He will also be missed by his grandkids, who he thought the world of, Brooks Price, Aiden & Asher Herrmann, and Mae & Iris Johnson, as well as his nephews Taylor (Lexi) & Mason Price, several Aunts, Uncles, cousins and his longtime friend, Brian, as well as so many others.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 27 from 3:00-7:00pm at Bull Valley Golf Club, 1311 Club Road, Woodstock, IL. In addition, a memorial service will be held in Sidney, Montana at a later date.
