Mary Ellen Ebann passed away peacefully November 29, 2022 in McHenry. She was born May 21, 1947 in Jacksonville, IL.
She lived a vibrant life of love and friendship. From her days as an art teacher at Coventry Elementary to her leadership within The Service League, she was a pillar of the community and will be missed.
Ellen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles “Chuck” Ebann; son, Spencer (Melissa) Ebann; and grandchildren, Ames (6) and Vanessa Ebann (3). She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Spencer; and her parents, Clodagh and John Spencer.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
