Mary Schwind

Visitation for Mary Beatrice Schwind, nee Greig, 71, of Wauconda, formerly of Arlington Heights, will be held at St. Michael?s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Avenue, Barrington, on Thursday, March 4, from 5 p.m. until the time of her memorial service at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue after the service around 7:30 p.m. Born June 28, 1938 in Chicago, she passed away February 27, 2010 surrounded by her family at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. A former Kindergarten and Sunday School teacher, she was a member of St. Michael?s Episcopal Church, where she attended bible study. She loved baking, knitting and art, and was an avid nature and animal lover. She was a good friend to all, and adored her 10 grandchildren. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Susan (Konrad) Weiss, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Voigt, and Laura (Jack) Dern; and grandchildren Danielle, Noah, Noelle, Elizabeth, Jonah, Paul, Micah, Theresa, Amanda and Brady. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert, and her parents, Beatrice and Robert, and her stepfather, Walter Lundean.
