Matthew Daniel Schmidt

Matt Schmidt of Crystal Lake passed away at his home, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the age of 38.

He was born January 19, 1981 in Barrington, the son of Frank and Margot Schmidt.

Matt enjoyed bowling and playing softball; he was an avid Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls and Bears fan.

Matt is survived by his mother, Margot; his sister, Liz (Brian); Niece, Britney; nephew, Bradley; and many close friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank; Uncle Art; Uncle Keith; and both maternal and paternal grandparents
