Michael Bryniarski

Michael Stanley Bryniarski, age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 3, at his home in Barrington, Illinois, in the company of his wife, two daughters, and sister.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Marisa (Greco) Bryniarski, elder daughter Laura Bryniarski and her husband D. David Johnson; younger daughter Carolyn (Bryniarski) Murphy and her husband Joseph Murphy, son Connor and daughter Madeline; his brother Walter Bryniarski and his wife Cindy (Strom) Bryniarski and their son Matthew; his younger sister Mary Bryniarski; his nephew Steven Marchi and his wife Paige (Mynar) Marchi and their children Max, Miles, Liv and Bryn; and niece Sara Marchi and her husband Devin Windell and their children Io, Cass and Elly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Harriet (Trocki) Bryniarski, and his elder sister Pauline (Bryniarski) Marchi.

A service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 11:00 am at Northwestern University’s Jeanne Vail Chapel, 1870 Sheridan Rd, Evanston, Illinois 60208. A private interment is scheduled on held on Saturday, January 10, at Windridge Memorial Park and Nature Sanctuary in Cary, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests a donation to Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research. The Lustgarten Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3, established to fund and support research programs with the greatest potential for impacting patients, including earlier detection, therapeutics and personalized medicine.
