Michael Thomas Grekowicz was born December 17, 1977 in Woodstock, Illinois to Kim (nee Wilyat) and Thaddeus Grekowicz and passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Orland Park, Illinois.
Following his graduation from high school, Michael developed skills enabling him to work in the carpentry trade. His true passions were playing drums, music and online poker.
Michael leaves behind his mother, Kim Rizzio; his father, Thaddeus Grekowicz; his brothers, Jesse Rizzio and Nicholas Grekowicz; his sisters, Tiffany Neally and Jessica Grekowicz; his grandparents, Delores Grekowicz and Dom and Carol Wilyat; his uncles, Stanley Grekowicz, John Wilyat, and Tom Wilyat; and nephew, Aidan.
His grandfather, Thaddeus Grekowicz, Sr. preceded him in death.
Family and friends may gather at Davenport Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt. 176), Crystal Lake on Wednesday, August 19 for the visitation from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the service beginning at 7:00pm.
