Michael R. Weyrauch

Michael (Mickey) R. Weyrauch, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 21, 2024, with his family by his side.

Mickey was born in Chicago, IL on March 22, 1947. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a teacher, a student, a mentor, an avid storyteller with a lifetime of memories that he was able to share, touching so many lives. He was an entrepreneur with an incredible vision and passion, creating something special out of almost anything he touched. Most importantly, he made time for anyone who needed a helping hand, no matter what was going on in his own life.

Mickey is survived by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Sia Weyrauch (nee Regas); loving children, Michele Butera of Barrington, IL, Jennifer (Glen) Erickson of Mamaroneck, NY, and Patricia Sadorf of Barrington, IL; grandchildren, Paul Butera, Sam Butera, Emma Erickson, Dylan Erickson, Ian Nickerson, and Everlee Sadorf; and sister, Lynn Burgess.

Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Weyrauch; sister Betty Weyrauch and brother Russell Weyrauch.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mickey will be held at 10am on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at St. Anne Catholic Community, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, IL. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington, IL.
