Miriam Sue Ursin

Miriam Sue Ursin, of Buffalo Grove, passed away August 25, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born July 28, 1936 in Chicago, the daughter of the late William and Harriet (nee Veeneman) Mattes.

Miriam worked at the Buffalo Grove Jewel in Chef's Kitchen for over 30 years; she loved the people she worked with as well as the customers.

Miriam is survived by her childrenn, Michael (Elizabeth), Steven (Gina), Lori (Steven) Forsman, and Patricia Cameron; her grandchildren, Michael, Kiel, Terry, Frank, Brooke, Brittany, Samantha, and Letitia; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Rae Lynn and Lennon.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Melvin; her grandson, Daniel; and her parents.

Services will be held privately for the family.
