Nancy Walneck

Nancy Walneck, 84, of Crystal Lake passed away February 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 9, 1938, in Chicago, IL to the late Richard and Alice Bowes.

Nancy had a strong commitment to the Catholic Church, enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved to tend to her garden of flowers.

Nancy was survived by her daughters, Michelle (Joseph) Villicana and Melissa (Todd) May; and grandchildren, Noelle and Nick Villicana, Morgan and Trevor May.

Preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Roger Walneck, who passed in 2016; and brother, William Bowes.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation in Nancy’s name to the Addus Hope Foundation 405 N Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington IL, 60010, an organization that assists hospice patients. The family would like to extend their gratitude to JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington for their loving and dedicated care to Nancy and her family.

A funeral Mass will be Held at St. Thomas the Apostile Catholic Church 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake IL, 60014 on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10am.
