Natalie Meierdirk

Natalie Lynn (née Giannini) Meierdirk, 36 of Richmond, passed away on September 12, 2024 in McHenry. She was born on March 5, 1988, to Phillip and Patricia (née Abel) in McHenry, Illinois.

She was a devoted mother, and her greatest joy in life was her son. Known for her infectious energy, Natalie was a beacon of positivity and was truly the life of every party (often the loudest too). 

She looked for the best in every situation and spread joy everywhere she went. Her unwavering optimism, fierce love for her family and friends, and unshakable spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her 3-year-old son, Wade; father, Phillip Giannini; sister, Kimberly (Joshua Skaja) Giannini; dear aunt to Ellis and Hudson Skaja and Franklin Beese; loving niece of Geraldine (Geri) Illy, Darlene Cleary and Victor Giannini; and many loving cousins and great friends. 

Natalie was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia, and cousins Kari and Gregory Giannini. 

Natalie was a 2006 graduate of Richmond-Burton Community High School and then graduated from Monmouth College in 2010. After college she began working at Uline, where she spent 13 years making countless new friends and unforgettable memories.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 1pm until the time of the service at 5pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life honoring Natalie will be organized in the coming weeks; more details will be shared with family and friends soon.
