Pat Organ

Patricia Ruth Organ, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026 at the age of 96.

She was born during The Great Depression, July 6, 1929 in Chicago, the daughter of Lloyd and Margaret (Sadler) Kornoelje.

Patricia was a woman of many creative gifts, especially with her hands. She lovingly knitted dresses, Barbie clothes, scarves, and blankets, each made with care and imagination. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, preserving memories as beautifully as she lived them.

An outgoing and joyful spirit, she loved parties, gatherings, and opening her home to host and entertain others. She delighted in dancing to the music of Patsy Cline. Travel brought her great happiness, especially cruising with her beloved husband and close friends to tropical destinations and to Alaska.

Above all, she cherished her family and her dear friends, who meant the world to her.

Patricia is survived by her children, Kathy (the late George) Palermo, Kay (the late Mike) Renoe, Jan (Brad) Zent, Steve Organ, and daughters-in-law, Barb Carlson and Patti Organ; her grandchildren, David (Heather) Carlson, Marsha (Dave) Drapalik, Bradley Zent, Jen Renoe, Nicole Palermo, Amanda (Casey) Flowers, Heather (Billy Evans) Renoe, Robby Organ, and Samantha Organ; her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Blake, Olivia, Charlie, Liam, Nora, Vivian, Alana, Cecilia, Evie, and Ciri; and a soon-to-be great-great-grandson in June.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Organ; sons, Dave and Rick; her grandson, Kevin; and brother, Jay.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142. Interment will be held at a later date.
