Patricia Aston

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Patricia M. Aston, nee Robinson, 78, a lifelong resident of Crystal Lake, entered into eternal life, Feb. 12, 2010. She was born Sept. 6, 1931 in Crystal Lake, IL. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, gardening, nature, reading and above all spending time with her 13 wonderful grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Aston, whom she married Sept. 7, 1957, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church; her daughters, Julie (Stephen) Cronin of Batavia, IL; Laura (Kevin) McKinsey of St. Charles, IL; Geri (Matthew) Weinstock of Chicago, IL; Christine (Jeffrey) Morse of Winnetka, IL; sons, Richard (Elizabeth) Aston of Lake St. Louis, MO; Thomas Aston of Crystal Lake, IL; grandchildren, John and Joe Cronin; Matthew, Joshua and Nicholas Aston; Elizabeth, Patrick and Kathryn McKinsey; Frank and Lillian Weinstock; Connor, Charlie and Josephine Morse; sister, Margaret McNulty of Kalamazoo, MI; brother, Robert (Kristi) Robinson of Crystal Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel, nee Oglesby, Robinson and a sister, Dorothy West. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake, where she will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. The visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 15th, from 4-8 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. Father Akan Simon will officiate. Interment will follow in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O.
