Patricia "Pat" Baur

Patricia “Pat” Baur, 77, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1948 in Chicago to John and Helen (nee Fec) Kolak.

On May 9, 1985, she married Robert “Bob” Baur, together they celebrated 40 years of marriage before his passing in November 2025.

Pat is survived by her niece Vickie Birch (Kolak), nephews Steve Thorne, Robert Thorne and Tony Kolak, great nieces, Carrie Birch, Tammy (Joe) Riska, Melissa (David) Kimpel. Great-great nephews and nieces, Joe (Sami) Kolak, Tyler and Hannah Hudson, Gabriel and Ava Riska, David and Emily Kimpel.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, John Kolak, Michael Kolak, Mary Thorne.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 beginning at 1 p.m., at Davenport Family Funeral Homes, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014, until a service at 3:30 p.m.
