Paul Francis Diamond

Paul F. Diamond, age 68, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022.

Paul was born in Chicago, IL on July 30, 1954. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. He had a long career as a human resources executive and retired in 2013. In retirement, he was a substitute teacher at Fremont Middle School and volunteer at Advocate Good Shepard Hospital.

Paul was survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Debbie Diamond (nee Chew); loving son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Karlie Diamond; cherished grandson, Mason Diamond; and siblings Dennis (Rose) Diamond, Tom (Monica) Diamond, Kevin (Trisha) Diamond, William Diamond, Joan Diamond Ledene, James (Camille) Diamond, Mathew (Debbie) Diamond, Michael (Teri) Diamond, Robert (Debbie) Diamond, Patrick (Nina) Diamond.

Preceded in death by his father John Diamond and mother Margret Diamond.

A visitation for Paul will be held from 5pm until 8pm on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am the following morning at St. Mary of the Annunciation 22333 W. Erhart Rd. Mundelein, IL. Burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Fremont Center, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation , Advocate Good Shepard Hospital , or Midtown Educational Foundation .
