Paul Aaron Emmett

It is with great sadness that we share that Paul passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52.

Paul was someone who truly laughed often and made a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him. While we are devastated by this loss, we are also so thankful for the joy he brought to his friends and family.

Paul lived a life full of passion and connection. Music was always close to his heart—whether he was playing his guitar for his biggest fans (Stevie and Minow) or traveling with friends to see his favorite concerts, it was a defining part of who he was.As a chef, he brought people together through incredible meals and set the standard for Christmas dinner that will be difficult to replicate.

When Paul walked into a room, he had a unique ability to make his presence felt immediately, it was one of his most endearing qualities. If this tragedy has reminded us of anything, it’s that life can change in an instant and be cut unexpectedly short. Take the time to gather your loved ones, hold them close, and tell them how much they mean to you. Make sure they always know how deeply they are loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, Illinois starting at 11:00 a.m.
