Paul Henry Haisch

Paul Henry Haisch, 77 years of age and resident of Algonquin, Illinois, passed away at his residence on July 16, 2025.

Paul was born on April 3, 1948, to the late Paul Frank and Beverly Jane Spencer. On March 8, 1969, he was united in marriage to Catherine Petty.

He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; children Jennifer (Tony) Sposato of Urbandale, Iowa, Karen (Larry) Sbertoli of Carol Stream, Illinois, and Kristin Osborn of Algonquin, Illinois; grandchildren Hannah Prymek, Emma Solomon, Madelyn Solomon, Cecilia Sbertoli, and Gemma Sbertoli; siblings Cheryl (Paul) Vanden Dolder, Teri Fuhrer, and Warren Theis II; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul Haisch, Beverly Theis, and Warren Theis.

A veteran of the Vietnam War, Paul proudly served in the United States Army. He then worked for the phone company for 30 years, doing pay phones and line repairs. Known as Papa by his granddaughters, his presence will be sorely missed. Paul loved collecting toy trucks and semis. He was additionally a music lover, Chicago Cubs fan, and took pride in maintaining his yard and home.

A visitation will be held on August 1, 2025, beginning at 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m., held at Davenport Family Funeral Homes, 419 East Terra Cotta (Route 176), Crystal Lake, Illinois, 60014.
