Paul Hess

Cary, Illinois,Paul T. Hess, 62, Cary, entered eternal life, February 10 2010 after a battle with younger onset Alzheimer?s Disease. He was born November 9, 1947 in Chicago to William B. and Gladys (Brown) Hess. On August 26, 1967, he was united in marriage to Linda Maitland. For over 40 years, he was a machinist in the steel industry. He enjoyed coaching youth football, cars, and his dogs, but his family, especially his grandkids, brought him most joy. His survivors include his wife Linda with whom he enjoyed over 40 years of marriage; his children, Tom (Iwona) Hess, Scott (Tricia) Hess, and Stormy Hess; his grandchildren, Monika, Sebastian, Nicholas, Nathan, and Timothy; and his siblings, David Hess, Dan Hess, and Cathy Milici. Preceding him in death were his parents. The visitation will be on Sunday, February 14, from 3-8pm, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, February 15, from 9:30am until the funeral service at 10:30am. Pastor Bill Metzger will officiate. Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Alzheimer?s Association, 8430 W Bryn Mawr, Suite 800 Chicago IL 60631-3497.
