A Life Well-Lived, Shared, and Captured
Born a farmboy, he never lost his connection to the land or his appreciation for honest work.
His adventurous spirit led him to serve his country as an Airman, which later paved the way for a career as a dedicated American Airlines employee.
He was a man of diverse passions, an artist who captured the world with his camera, a craftsman who found peace as a woodworker, and a preservationist who cherished the history behind every piece in his antique collection. He also brought stories to life as a skilled editor.
Paul’s greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a cherished uncle.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, from 10am until the time of a service at 12noon at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
