Paul Anthony Seekings

Paul Anthony Seekings, age 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023.

Paul was born on June 17, 1950, in Chicago, IL. He joined the Marine Corps on December 24, 1969. Stayed in active duty until July 1974. Continued in Reserves from July 1974 until July 1979. Became an Active Reserve on February 1984 and retired Honorably in 1999 with 30 years in the Marine Corps. He was also a police officer for the City of McHenry and Kildeer Police Department. He always tried to help others by giving of himself. He was active in the American Legion, The Polish League of American Veterans and serving on the Police Pension Board for the City of Kildeer. He received a Masters Degree in Human Resources, Bachelor of Police Science.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathy Lynn Seekings (nee Burnett); His surviving siblings are Michael J., Margaret J. (Michelle), Edward J. (Lisa), Donald A, John W. (Tracy), Charles R. (Eunice) and Tina M. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Paul Milo and Margaret Mary Seekings.

A visitation for Paul will be held from 10am until the time of service at 11am on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Burial to follow at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock, IL.
