Ralph Holvay

Lake Barrington, Illinois,Memorial Visitation for Ralph George Holvay, 87, of Lake Barrington, will be held Saturday, Feb. 20,2010, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., at St. Michael?s Episcopal Church, 647 Dundee Ave., Barrington. Born July 4, 1922 in Chicago, he passed away on February 10 2010 in Woodstock. Ralph was a long time parishioner of St. Michael?s Episcopal Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 ½ years, Dorothy Esther Holvay nee Eckley, whom he married on August 30 1950; loving sons Stephen, Gregory (Nancy), and Timothy Holvay; dear grandchildren Jason, Jessica, and Andria (Charles Logan) Risley; cherished great grandchild Hunter Risley; and dearest brother Emery Holvay. He was preceded in death by his parents and Sister Lillian Brooke. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Episcopal Relief & Development's ""Hurricane Relief Fund." St. Michael's Episcopal Church in his honor.
