Randall "Randy" Lynch

Randall “Randy” Lynch, 81, longtime resident of Crystal Lake, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 4, 2026. He was born on April 4,1945 in Nyack, NY to the late John and Helen Lynch.

Randy was the beloved husband of Janet for 61 years. He is also survived by his two daughters Jennifer (Angelo) Tirado and Tara (Scott) Roberts. Randy was also the proud grandfather of Madeline and Jack Roberts.

Randy’s life was filled with love. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him was very fortunate. Randy had a successful professional career working for Union Carbide/Graftech for 37 years as a Regional Sales Manager. After retiring, he continued to work as a consultant for M. Brashem for an additional 10 years.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed spending the summers with Janet at their lake cottage in Michigan. He also loved collecting timepieces, especially pocket watches and clocks. You always knew what time it was when you visited his home. Randy was extremely proud and thought the world of his two grandchildren and was excited for what the future might hold for them.

Randy was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any animal charity of your choice.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
