Visitation for Raymond "Ray" Kaiser, 73, of Barrington, will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Born June 2, 1936 in Chicago, he passed away peacefully on February 24, 2010, in the loving care of Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock. Services and interment will be private. Mr. Kaiser worked in sales and marketing. He loved animals, and adored his cats. He enjoyed watching A & E and the History channel and was a history buff. He enjoyed home renovations and projects as well as outdoor activities, especially tennis. He always looked forward to working out with friends at the Barrington Park District. Ray was a very sociable person and had a wide circle of friends. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. (nee Bracht) Kaiser; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; great friends; and companions whom he loved, Ferguson, Gabriel and Molly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Karoline (nee Schuda) Kaiser; all of his brothers and sisters; and his loving companion, Mallory Muffin.
