Renee Jeanette Santellano

Renee Jeanette Santellano (nee Sineni), age 52, of Des Plaines, IL passed away Friday, June 21, 2024.

Renee was born in Chicago, IL on May 14, 1972. Renee graduated from Mother Guerin High School in 1990 and continued with some college education at Triton Junior College before entering the workforce full time. She enjoyed her time working at UPS in compliance with OSHA as well as her years in the Walmart Optical Department. Unfortunately, Renee’s health became too challenging to continue working at which time she focused on her favorite and most treasured gift….. being an amazing friend and aunt. Renee was always the life of the party, the optimist in all situations and a friend always ready to listen.

Renee is survived by her husband (separated), James Santellano; loving mother, Esther Sineni (nee Wenckowski); older sister, Gina (Renato) Zanichelli and twin sister and longest friend, Jennifer (Vince) Concialdi; long term companion , Tony Chmilenko and many nieces and nephews. She was lovingly known as Nae Nae to Nic, Lia, Tony, Joey, Vinnie, Lanie, Frankie, Johnny.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Charles Sineni; her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation for Renee will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047. A Memorial service will be held the following morning at 11am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich. Urn entombment to follow at St. Matthews Lutheran Church Cemetery, 24500 N. Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods, IL.
