Richard "Rich" Wolk

Richard “Rich” William Wolk, 75, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 22, 1950 in Bronx, NY to Melvin and Eva Wolk.

On May 27, 1972, Rich married his college sweetheart, Mary Jo Paar; together they celebrated 53 beautiful years of marriage.

He enjoyed fishing and camping, especially in Door County with his family. He coached his sons’ baseball teams and later enjoyed cheering and attending his grandchildren’s activities.

Rich will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Jo; sons, Chris (Joanna) Wolk and Matt (Kate) Wolk; grandchildren, Addi, Cooper and Leland Wolk; his brother, Gary (Kim) Wolk.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Wolk Family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at JourneyCare Hospice for taking such good care of Rich.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 10 AM until the prayer service at 12 Noon at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
