Richard James Vallee, Jr.

Richard James Vallee, Jr., 80, of Crystal Lake, passed away on October 27, 2026.

He was born on January 26, 1946, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Richard Vallee, Sr. and Marion (Fischer) Vallee.

Richard proudly served in the United States Army for three years during the Vietnam era. He worked for the Hoffman Estates Public Works Department in the Water Division for 22 years before retiring.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Helen (Doluk) Vallee.

He is survived by his three sons, Richard III (Trisha), David J., and Jeffrey (Susan) Vallee; his grandchildren, Keegan, Jacob, Logan, Zoey, Alexis, and Brooklyn; and his brothers, Douglas (the late Donna) and James (Darthy) Vallee.

Burial with military honors will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 12 noon at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.
