Richard Vensel

Richard was born September 29, 1939 to Joseph and Frances Vensel. He passed away peacefully Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Barrington.
Richard is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara; children, John (Darcey), Mary (Jason) White, Carol (Jose) Smith, and Theresa (Frank) Vensel; step children, Cindy Rosetti, Teresa Recar, and Beth (Dr. Bob) Schieble; grandchildren, Robert, Katie, Amylynn, Diego, Satchel, Teagan, Geneva, Jordan, Quincy, Malcolm, Rachel, and Jillian; and sister, Mary Ellen (Sid) Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his sister Joan (Jerry) Reuter, and his parents.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5pm until the time of the prayer service at 7pm, Thursday, June 30 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
