Rita Marie Barry-Nonnenmacher

Rita Marie Barry-Nonnenmacher, 78, of Woodstock passed away on December 7, 2022.   She was born in Tucson, AR to Rudy and Marie (nee Klug) Smith.

A graduate of Marion Catholic Central class of 1964, Rita devoted her working career at a medical office in Lake Zurich.

Rita was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.   She always put others first and will be greatly missed.  Rita had a heart for animals, especially her cats.  She couldn’t turn a cat away. They brought joy to her life.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Rosemary and Madeleiene; and her brother, Paul.

Rita is survived by her husband, Timothy Nonnenmacher; son, Richard (Jean) Barry; four granddaughters, Savannah, Madison, Morgan and Kennedy; siblings, Robert, Greg, Matthew, Ken, Christine, and Dolores.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, from 4pm until the time of a service at 7:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
