Robert Hoppe

Tower Lakes, Barrington, Illinois,Robert George Hoppe Mass of Christian Burial for Robert George Hoppe, 80 of Barrington, will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Transfiguration Church, 316 W Mill St, Wauconda IL. Father Ron Gollatz will officiate. Inurnment is private. Born August 6, 1929 in Chicago, he passed away December 25, 2009 in Barrington. Robert was the chairman and owner of Perkins Manufacturing for 40 years and was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was a past president of the Lions Club and enjoyed golf. Survivors include his wife, Julianna (nee Schneider), his daughters Cheryl (Timothy) Waite and Julie Schneider; son Robert Hoppe; grandchildren Alicia Waite and Kristin Schneider; and his sister, Georgene (Melvin) Norris. He was preceded in death by his parents, George William and Pauline Constantine (nee Schuetz) Hoppe; sisters Bernice Uher, Loretta Hilbert, LaVerne Schmidt and Dorothy Hoppe; and his brother, Edward Hoppe. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert?s name may be made to Transfiguration Catholic Church, 316 W Mill St, Wauconda IL 60084.
