Robert C. Wiltgen

Bob was born September 23, 1939 in Chicago to Raymond and Mildred Wiltgen.  He passed away February 15, 2018 in Long Grove.

Bob was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and president of Painters Local Union 863 from 1998-2016. He was a self-employed painter for many years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Petronella “Pet” Wiltgen; son, Rob (Amy) Wiltgen and their children; Claire, Grace, and Lily; and son, Rick (Becky) Wiltgen; and their children, Maggie, Charlie, Mary Beth, Annie, Ryan, and Henry; and sister in law, Jean.  He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond and his parents.

Memorial visitation will be 10am until the funeral mass at 11:30 am Saturday, March 3 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington.  Inurnment will follow at White Cemetery, Cuba Township.
