Robert Otto Wolf Robert Otto Wolf, 91, of Crystal Lake entered eternal life Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Woodstock. He was born in Chicago, IL, January 18, 1919, to the late George and Ottilia (nee Keil) Wolf. Robert proudly served his country for five years during WWII; he was also proud to be a past commander and life time member of the Billy Caldwell American Legion Post #806. He was a jeweler in the Chicago area for more than 35 years and enjoyed his retirement as a proud grandfather of four. He spent many mornings at Andy?s restaurant in Crystal Lake as an elite member of the "Counter Intelligence". In his free time, Bob enjoyed reading, watching sports or a good western on the television, and playing a friendly game of poker (with no gabbing). Survivors include his beloved children, Terri (Richard) Brent and Robert P. (Cindy) Wolf; and cherished grandchildren, Judy Wolf and Sara and Joshua Brent. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pauline Wolf, grandson Brandon Wolf, sisters, Lucy Wolf, Dorothy Stracke and Ruth Lehman, and brother George Wolf. The memorial visitation will be from 6pm until the 7pm memorial service, Wednesday, January 12, at Living Waters Lutheran Church, 1808 Miller Rd, Crystal Lake. Inurnment will be held at 10am on Thursday, January 13 at Memorial Park, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL.
