Robert "Bob" Collimore

Robert “Bob” Collimore passed away peacefully February 28, 2023 in Elgin.  He was born October 3, 1933 in Bridgeport, CT  to Charles and Margaret Collimore.

Following graduation from Dartmouth College Bob proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for ten years.

He went on to become owner of Kuffel, Eggert, Collimore and Company Insurance where he retired as President.

Bob is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathleen; children, Robert Jr. (Kate) Collimore, Christopher Collimore, and Georgia (Warren) Edson; stepson, Stephen (Lisa) Flanagan; and grandchildren, Kathleen Flanagan, Sarah Flanagan, Sam Edson, and Sydney Flanagan.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles Collimore.

Memorial visitation will be from 10am until the memorial service at 12pm Saturday, March 4 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake Cook Road) Barrington.  Interment will be private.
