Robert “Bobby” R. Bruzzino, 60, of Crystal Lake passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1962 in Chicago to the late Ralph and Edna Bruzzino.
Bobby grew up in Bensenville, IL and graduated from Fenton High School and moved to Crystal Lake in 1989. In September 1989, he began his employment with the Crystal Lake Park District and remained a loyal employee for over 30 years. Bobby was also an avid fisherman and loved NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his sisters, Dolly (the late Dave) Kosak, Diana (Joe) Castaneda; God-Parents, Joe and Judy Bruzzino; nieces and nephews, Michael (Nancy) Kosak, Cheryl (Bryan) Smith, Kimberly Washington, Jackie (Mark) Dennis, and Christopher Castaneda; great nieces and nephews, Bradley, Nick, Cullen, Emma, Justin, Josh, Jon, Nathan and Noah; and a great-great-nephew, Bryden and by many loving friends, co-workers and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother-in-law, Dave Kosak.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9 AM until the memorial service at 12 Noon at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Inurnment to follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
