Roger Lynch

Roger William Lynch,75, of Barrington, passed away, June 26,2012, peacefully at his home.

Roger’s professional career was very important to him, including; Chief Engineer at the Pearson Hotel, and at Kraft Foods. He was a respected employee at the Sears Tower, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Goldman Sachs. He was also a 50 year member of the local Union I.O.U.E. 399. 

Roger is survived by his wife, Arlene; daughters, Mary (Robert) Gemeinhardt, Kathryn (John) Kurzawa, and Carey Lynch; grandchildren, Max, Ehren, and Eric Gemeinhardt, Haley, Rachel, and John Kurzawa, and Aryanna, Miranda, and Madelyn Eakins.

Visitation will be held from 5-8p.m., Thursday, June 28,2012, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook), Barrington, IL 60010. At Roger’s request, a celebration of his life will immediately follow the visitation Thursday; friends and family welcome.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m., Friday, June 29,2012, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Barrington, (corner of Franklin and Ela Streets) with a visitation one hour before the mass.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to AAROOOO Rescue, P.O. Box 3962, Barrington, IL 60011-3962.
