Ronald A. Lindquist, 86, of Barrington, passed away January 16, 2017. He was born on January 2, 1931,
in Chicago, to Fenner and Alice (nee Olson) Lindquist.
After his time of service with the U.S Air Force, Ron found his love for building model airplanes. He loved the intricacies and the history of each plane and made over 40 models in the later years. Ron gifted many of them to other veterans.
Ron is survived by his wife Sharon, who he married on his birthday in 1988; children, Deedee (John) Bird, Rick (JoLynn) Lindquist, Vicki (Tom) Amsler, Karin (Michael) Davis, and Mark (Marissa) Anderson; and his wonderful grandchildren.
