Sandi (Wiarda) Hill

Sandra “Sandi” Hill, 73, of Cary passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. She was born in Iowa to the late Dean and Ferne (nee Klink) Wiarda on September 17, 1949.

After working with JCPenney in purchasing, she began working as a management specialist where she met her husband, Tracy Hill.  They were married in 1992 and welcomed their daughter, Morgan, into their family in 1995.

Sandi had a laugh that was contagious.   Her smile and sweet personality made anybody feel at home. Sandi cared about everyone with two or four legs…she had a huge heart for people and animals.   Her sense of style shined through in the way she dressed, the way she decorated her house, and in gift giving and crafts.  Sandi will be so greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Morgan Hill; sister, Judy (Larry) Buchan; nephew, Shannon Buchan; and many loving extended family members.

Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Hill and her brother, Dennis Wiarda.

A visitation will be Friday, February 10, from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.  The visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9:30am until a service at 10:30am at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
