Sara Virginia Sagisi

Sara Virginia Sagisi, born on March 15, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois, transitioned from this world on February 10, 2024.

Raised in the Andersonville/Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago until 2012, Sara then moved to Hawthorn Woods. She attended Lake Zurich High School, graduating in 2018. She then studied at the College of Lake County, where she was currently in her third year.

Sara recently took over as Managing Partner from her father at the Sagisi Apartment Group, LLC, the family real estate business, started by her grandparents, Zoilo and Norma Sagisi almost 50 years ago.

Sara possessed an artistic talent and a love for producing music. She found peace and fulfillment in the realm of visual arts of painting, drawing and jewelry making.

Sara’s vibrant energy and determination were evident in every aspect of her life. Her strong will and resilience served as a guiding light for her loved ones, inspiring them to face challenges with courage and grace. Sara’s love knew no bounds, and she cared deeply for her family and friends, offering unwavering support and compassion whenever needed.

Though Sara’s physical presence may be gone, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness, her creativity and her love. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy will endure through the lives she has touched.

Sara will be deeply missed by her beloved parents, Jose Ronelle and Mary Tallant (nee Wulfing) Sagisi; her cherished siblings, Samuel and Summer Sagisi; her treasured parental grandparents, Norma Sampang Sagisi and Zoilo Sagaysay Sagisi; and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virginia Ann Tallant Small (who was the namesake for Sara’s middle name) and Carl Ward Wulfing.

Visitation for Sara will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 12 Noon until 8 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 9 AM until prayers at 10 AM. A funeral mass will immediately follow at 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047. Interment to follow at Maryhill Catholic Cemetery.
