Sheila Grahn

Sheila Murphy Grahn, 83, of Barrington, passed away August 13, 2014. Sheila is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald Grahn; her son, Jeffrey (Amy) Grahn of Lake Bluff; daughter, Jody Hart of Batavia; and grandsons, Jeffrey Hart and Thomas Hart. Sheila was born in Reading, PA, to the late Dorothy and Bertram Murphy. Sheila graduated from Northwestern University in 1953. She loved spending fall Saturdays attending NU football games and hosting great tailgates for family and friends. Sheila had a lifelong love of horses, and enjoyed many volunteer activities, most notably helping with the first Special Olympics.
