Sheila A. Guenther

Born May 14, 1938 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Walter J. and Thelma M. (nee Suor) Thompson, Sheila passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 5, 2018.

Sheila will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted Catholic and Eucharistic Minister as well as a tireless volunteer.

Sheila is survived by her children, Anne (Mike) Brannan of Barrington, IL, Sharon (Jerry) Garavel of Ridgefield, CT, Paul (Patty) Guenther of Milford, MA, John (Leslie) Guenther of Simpsonville, SC, and Julie (Andy) Locascio of Crystal Lake, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa and Kevin Brannan, Matthew and Mark Garavel, Sara and Michael Locascio, Carolina Guenther, and Julia Guenther; her brother, Michael F. (Claudia) Thompson; and her sister-in-law, Lynne Thompson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph A. Guenther; and her brother, Terry Thompson.

Services for Sheila will be held privately.
