Sheila K. Littauer

Sheila K. Littauer, 84, of Lake Barrington, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023. She was born on June 4, 1938 in Bronx, NY to the late Michael and Eve Kruger.

Sheila earned a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D) from Fairleigh Dickinson University and dedicated most of her working career educating teachers and students in the Bergen County (NJ) Special Services School District.

Sheila was a long time resident of both River Vale, NJ and Lake Barrington, IL.  She was an active member of the River Vale Evangelical Free Church and Village Church of Barrington.  She was also active in leading and participating in various bridge clubs as well as other church and community-related activities.

Sheila is survived by her children, Robert (Lori) and Eric (Ruth); grandchildren, Rebecca (Tommy), Rachel, and Bethany; soon to be great-granddaughter Selah; sister Sunny; and niece Rachel (Brian). She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl and nephew Jeffrey.

A private graveside service and interment will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
