Shirley Donahoe

Shirley L. Donahoe was born January 3, 1927 in Two Rivers, Wi, she passed away peacefully April 16, 2015, at her home in Lake Barrington.
Shirley was a Registered Nurse as a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She was a certified public health nurse through Marquette University for the City of Milwaukee.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward Donahoe; children, Daniel (Kaye) Donahoe, Kathleen (late Lonn) Calanca, Thomas (Tracy Lyons) Donahoe, Stephen (Lori) Donahoe, Patrice Donahoe, Robert (Lori) Donahoe, and James (Beth) Donahoe; grandchildren; Rory, Ryan, and Kiernan Donahoe, Lonn Calanca Jr., and Jennifer Calanca-Ward, Sean Donahoe, Catherine Stack, Rachel Marquardt, and Kristen, Megan, Sarah, Matthew, Lilli, and Kasten Donahoe; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Orion, and loving caregiver Una. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Genevieve Kasten and her sister Joann (Ralph) Arenz.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, April 23 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St (Lake-Cook), Barrington.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Friday, April 24 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St, Barrington, where there will be visitation from 10am until the time of the mass. Inurnment will be private.
