Shirley Jeanette Eilert

Shirley Jeanette (nee Larson) Eilert, 96, of Northbrook, died peacefully in her home at Covenant Village Memory Care in Northbrook, Illinois on May 28, 2026.

Shirley was born in Chicago on September 16, 1929, to parents Harry Gustav and Jennie Eugenia (nee Helwig) Larson.

Shirley loved her family, her friends and her faith. She loved to dance, do crafts, and her favorite place to be was on the beach in Michigan. She lived a long and full life and always had a smile on her face.

Shirley is survived by her children, Suzanne (Greg) Johnson, Pamela (Brad) Price, and Bruce (Aileen) Eilert, her grandchildren, Amy Ann, Heather, Jeremy, Mark, and Lisa, and her great -grandchildren, Bodhi, Jett, Makenna, Summit, and Lettie.
